According to sources, the Kia EV6 will be available in India on June 2. At the same time, the business has chosen to begin accepting pre-orders for the Kia EV6. Users can reserve this electric automobile from May 26 and have it delivered in June. It will be imported as a CBU, which implies it will be a high-priced vehicle that will serve as Kia’s flagship in India. It could start at more than INR 60 lakh (ex-showroom). Kia EV6 will enter the market on the lines of Completely Built Unit (CBU). The upcoming electric car could knock with both RWD and AWD configurations and a powerful battery pack. This car globally comes with 58 kWh and 77.4 kWh battery pack. The upcoming car can knock with 77.4 kWh battery pack in the Indian market. According to the demand, the company can also introduce other variants in the future.
On a single charge, the Kia EV6 WLTP cycle can give a range of 528 kilometres in RWD( Rear Wheel Drive) 425 kilometres in AWD( All wheel drive). The Kia EV6’s battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes thanks to its 350 kW DC fast charger. Similarly, a 50 kW DC fast charger takes 73 minutes to charge a 10% battery to 80% capacity.
Engine and Powertrain:
The top-of-the-line GT Line edition is available in India, and it is equipped with not one, but two electric motors, which when combined create 321bhp of peak power and 605Nm of peak torque.
Aesthetics and other features:
Dual headlamps, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and eight airbags are among the features of the Kia EV6. Aside from that, the electric car includes features such as an electric sunroof, 64-color ambient lighting, vegan leather bolsters with black interior theme and vegan wrapped steering wheel, and a 10-way adjustable front seat.
